¹⁶ Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked;^[a](A)
    they gnashed their teeth^(B) at me.

¹⁷ How long,^(C) Lord, will you look on?
    Rescue me from their ravages,
    my precious life^(D) from these lions.^(E)
18 I will give you thanks in the great assembly;^(F)
    among the throngs^(G) I will praise you.^(H)
